1) See what life was like and what our men and women had to endure as members of the U.S. Armed Services, with free admission to Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum as part of RADical Days. View displays, artifacts, uniforms and personal mementos of American military history. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 4141 Fifth Ave., Oakland.

2) Take a ride on the “Rocky Mountain Express,” a film that takes you on a steam train ride across deep river canyons and stunning mountain peaks as the locomotive roars into the Canadian Rockies.  Appreciate the men who risked their lives as you focus on one of the most incredible engineering feats in history, Canada’s first transcontinental railroad, routed through breathtaking Rocky Mountains vistas. Shows at 11:15 a.m. & 3:15 p.m. Carnegie Science Center, North Shore.

3) The Shari Richards Band brings the blues to Monday nights at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille.  Special guests. 8 p.m., NO COVER. 103 Slade Lane, Warrendale.

4) Thunderbird Cafe’s Open Stage is happening tonight, hosted by musician Craig King. 9:30 p.m. NO COVER. 4023 Butler St., Lawrenceville.
