1) Highmark Holiday Pops is a grand event featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Mendelsshon Choir and many talented guest artists. Enjoy popular Christmas carols and holiday music including: “Sleigh Ride,” “White Christmas,”  and selections from The Nutcracker. Daniel Meyer conducts for the festive celebration, there’s even a visit by a jolly man in red from the North Pole. Make sure to view the grand splendor of Heinz Hall with all it’s holiday decorations and a 25 foot tall Christmas tree in the lobby. 2:30 & 8 p.m. Runs through tomorrow. 2) Symphony’s and choirs are especially popular this time of year for their beautiful sounds, so here’s another selection to get you in the festive holiday mood.  The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra presents Home for the Holidays with many of your favorite seasonal songs. Conducted by Matthew Kraemer. The Symphony is joined by the gleeful voices of the All-Star Choir of Westmoreland County under the direction of Marc Tourre. 8 p.m. Palace Theatre Greensburg. 21 W. Otterman St.

3) The Rivers Casino has the MVP Band, a good time party band, jammin’ at the Wheelhouse Bar & Grill tonight. 9 p.m. – 1 a.m North Shore.

4) Also happening at the Rivers Casino tonight is DJ Scottro laying down the dance grooves at Drum Bar. Get out on the dance floor and join in the fun. 9:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. North Shore.
