1) Chris Tomlin christian pop singer/songwriter, is bringing his Burning Lights Tour to the Consol Energy Center tonight. Tomlin has ten, no. 1 radio singles, 3 Grammy’s, 18 Dove Awards, one platinum and three gold records to his credit. His songs are beautifully crafted and include: “Forever,” “Indescribable” and “How Great is Our God.” Special Guests are Louie Giglio and Kari Jobe. 7 p.m. Uptown.

2) Mr. Smalls Funhouse presents Keller Williams in concert. Williams is a versatile, multi-instrumental musician, whose music has a nice playful side. Bass, his most recent album (released in 2011) focused on bass guitar in reggae, funk, dub and jazz music. 9 p.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

3) Roots of Rock’n Roll XXXIX, a great series showcasing early rock and doo-wop groups, is happening tonight. Featured groups and performers are: Charlie Thomas’ DriftersKenny Vance & The PlanotonesThe Flamingos featuring Terry JohnsonThe Original Clovers featuring Harold WinleyKathy YoungJosh White, Jr. and Pittsburgh’s own Pure Gold. 4) A Night of Elegance with the Teresa Hawthorne Band (Proceeds benefit Create-S-Team Academy of Music & Theater) is the early show at Club Cafe. Hawthorne is a talented Pittsburgh singer who has opened for The Whispers, Teena Marie  and Midnight Star. 7:00 p.m. 56 S. 12th St., South Side.
