1) ZooBoo, The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium’s annual Halloween celebration, features: Gymkhana’s Haunted Hideaway; the Docent Council Haunted House; your favorite animals; “trick-or-treating” stations, kid’s costume contest at Water’s Edge (costumes optional). The kids aren’t the only ones having fun–animals  receive over 100 pumpkins, games and special treats. 11a.m.-4 p.m. No word yet on how many fun-sized candy bars the animals are allowed. (Treat bags for kids under 13 until 3 p.m.).  One Wild Place. Highland Park.

2) Jergel’s Rhythm Grille presents rock band The Tubes in concert tonight. The Tubes are best known for their big 1980s hits “She’s a Beauty” and “Talk To Ya Later.” 8 p.m. 103 Slade Lane, Warrendale.

3) Tony Janflone Jr., Pittsburgh guitar ace, plays rock sets at Carson City Saloon starting at 5:45 p.m. Come early and watch the Steelers vs. Redskins game. Enjoy Carson City Saloon’s tasty menu items and game-day specials. Corner of 14th & Carson Streets, South Side.

4) Do you like Chocolate & Chili & Fall Foilage? Then Seven Springs Mountain Resort  Autumnfest is the place for you! Local fire companies will compete in a Chili Cookoff for “Best Chili” and “Best Decorated Booth.” Browse the arts and crafts bazaar, enjoy chair lift rides, magicians, clowns, entertainers, climbing walls…walk through a hay maze, take a ride on the alpine slide. Musical groups performing throughout the day: Bad Influence (rock); Walk of Shame (bar and party rock); Chuck Cantalamessa (mellow folk rock, on a 12- string acoustical guitar). Seven Springs, PA.
