1) Mr. Small’s Funhouse will be extra fun tonight with one of Pittsburgh’s top rock exports, Rusted Root. A jam-rock band extraordinaire, Rusted Root is sure to play some of their top songs: “Send Me On My Way,” “Cruel Sun,” “Ecstasy.”  With special guests Lucy Stone Band and Derek Woodz Band. 8 p.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

2) We all need a good laugh after the disappointing Steeler season, so here’s your chance, The Steel City Comedy Tour. Held at South Side’s, Club Cafe, the event features local comedians: Mike Wysocki, Chuck Kreiger, Tom Kupiec, Blake Carter, Brad Ryan, and Jeff Konkle. 8 p.m. 56-58 S. 12th St.

3) Wood Street Galleries is currently presenting the art exhibition, The City & The City: Artwork by London Writers. The exhibition joins together visual artwork by respected authors of experimental poetry, fiction, history and geography, while exploring new ways to combine literature and art in an examination of  modern day London. Caroline Bergvall, Rachel Lichtenstein, Tom McCarthy & Rod Dickinson, Iain Sinclair & Chris Petit, Sukhdev Sandhu are the highlighted artists. Justin Hopper is the guest curator.11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free, runs through December 31st. 601 Wood Street, Downtown Cultural District.

4) Jeff Jimerson & Airborne rock out Jergel’s Rhythm Grille in Warrendale, 8 p.m. 103 Slade Lane.
