Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers Perform at Meadows; Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District (Fri., 1/22/16)

1) Pittsburgh rock royalty Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers—who have remained a constant on the Pittsburgh musical scene as the city has changed from steel mills to high-tech foundry—are playing a gig tonight at The Meadows Casino. Grushecky and band are playing in support of their latest release Somewhere East of Eden. 8 p.m. No Cover. 210 Racetrack Rd., Washington.

2) Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District is happening tonight; it features visual arts, musical performances, and interactive exhibits. All events are free and take place at a variety of galleries, art spaces, and venues. Some galleries offer drinks and hors d’oeuvres. What a great way to sample some of Pittsburgh’s great arts and entertainment! 5:30 – 9 p.m., Cultural District.

3) Good Fridays at the Warhol is a weekly party at the museum, featuring art exhibits, music, and cocktails in the high temple to Andy Warhol’s numerous talents. Half-price museum admission. 5 – 10 p.m. 117 Sandusky St., North Shore.
