Pittsburgh Symphony Performs at Three Rivers Arts Festival (CPs Mon., 6/09/14)

1) Some things go beautifully together—like a good hot dog and Heinz ketchup. A lovely combination is happening in Pittsburgh this evening, with the world-renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performing at the Three Rivers Arts Festival. Resident conductor Lawrence Loh will be leading the orchestra in tonight’s program at  Dollar Bank Stage. The free concert starts at 7 p.m. Point State Park, Downtown.

2) Our Battlin’ Buccos take on the Chicago Cubs at PNC Park. 7:05 p.m. 115 Federal St., North Shore.

3) Savoy Restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with the The Jevon Rushton Quartet. 6 – 10 p.m. No cover. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.

4) It’s Global Mondays at Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside with imported bottled beers for only $3. While there, team up an import with a bowl of their scrumptious chili. 5431 Walnut St.
