A ‘Heaven-ly’ Halloween Party

Storied nightclub reappears for two more nights.

Heaven Halloween PosterThe legendary Heaven nightclub, which closed in 1985, was recreated for a night this past June at its former home—now the beautiful interior lobby of the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel. The event was a sold-out smash. Heaven’s atmosphere was brought back with dance lights, fog machines, original disco ball, confetti, human aerialists performing 30 feet above the dance floor, and one of the original DJ’s, John Hohman.  The hotel is hosting two more Heaven events, both holiday bashes, one for Halloween and the other for New Year’s Eve.

The Halloween event poses the question “Are You Hell Bent or Heaven Sent?” And you don’t have to answer beforehand, you can discover which one applies to you while there, in a costume of course. The atmosphere will be of a spooky Michael Jackson “Thriller” kind of vibe with two general admission tickets to the New Year’s Eve celebration as prize for Best Costume. The Heaven Halloween bash will be held on Friday, October 30 from 7 p.m. to midnight. General admission tickets are $50, and VIP tickets at $75 include access to the VIP lounge, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and one complimentary drink ticket.

The party continues.

The party continues.

So you can keep the Heaven party going into 2016, the New Year’s Eve Event will also feature Heaven’s fun flourishes plus additional dinner and accommodations packages. The Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel is located at 107 6th Street, Downtown. The Heaven events are produced by Acrobatique Creative.
