1) Andrew’s Steak & Seafood at the Rivers Casino will start the new year off the right way: with a full plate of food and a big glass of your preferred drink. Begin with the cheese board or crispy calamari with lemon ailoi. If you’ve resolved to get in shape, try the autumn salad, featuring baby kale, warm bacon vinaigrette, braised chestnuts, and sweet potato croquettes (just to name a few seasonal flavors). If you want to go for the 24 oz. porterhouse steak or the rack of lamb, remember the gym will still be there tomorrow. With an impressive wine list and plenty of cocktails, you’ll find the perfect pairing for any entree. Feeling lucky? 2) Sometimes comfort food is the best medicine, and Meat and Potatoes delivers. Located in the heart of the Cultural District, the restaurant prides itself on traditional, hearty meals with a modern twist. For starters how about an order of pigs ears paired up with poutine. and maybe some bone marrow. There’s also the pub burger, featuring pork belly pastrami, horseradish cheddar, and a fried egg, or feel right at home with the pot roast with carrots, celery, and whipped potatoes.
