1) As we prepare for the winter season here in Pittsburgh, we can be thankful that we don’t live in the harsh conditions found in the Arctic. The Carnegie Science Center is currently showing the IMAX film”To The Arctic.” The movie showcases a mother polar bear and her two cubs as they navigate the changing, frigid tundra wilderness in their quest for survival. “Into the Arctic” also features more wildlife found in the Arctic region.The film is narrated by Academy award-winning actress Meryl Streep, and incites everyone to find ways to do our part to help reduce global warming. 12:15, 2:15, 4:15 p.m., North Shore.

2) “Enter the Dragon” (R) starring karate legend Bruce Lee, screens tonight at Dormont’s Hollywood Theater.  Shot in 1973, the film features Bruce Lee going undercover at a karate tournament to spy on a reclusive crime boss. 7:30 p.m. 1449 Potomac Ave.

3) Portland, Oregon’s Yards (instrumental post-rock) with Gardening Not Architecture (AKA Sarah Saturday), Kevin Finn and Tony Cenname are all playing the Garfield Artworks tonight. 8 p.m. 4931 Penn Ave., Garfield.

4) Hambone’s in “the ‘Ville” features Cabaret Club (7-9 p.m.) and the Bluegrass Jam (9 p.m.). 4207 Butler St., Lawrenceville.
