1) Rock group Rush plays the Consol Energy Center. The band is touring in support of their latest album “Clockwork Angels.” Rush is best known for hits: Working Man, Fly By NightCloser to the Heart. 7:30 p.m. Uptown.

2) Sondre Lerche, a Norwegian singer/songwriter who also plays guitar, plays a show at the New Hazlett Theater. Opening is Brooklyn group Fancy Colors. 8 p.m. North Side.

3) The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust & BNY Mellon presents JazzLive at Agnes Katz Plaza. This week’s featured entertainer is jazz trumpeter Sean Jones & Friends. 5-7 p.m.  Penn Avenue & Seventh Street, Downtown Cultural District. Free.

4) Tonight is the last night of a two night stand  for metal rockers August Burns Red at the Altar Bar. Also on the bill are: Of Mice and Men; The Color Morale, The Overseer. 7 :30 p.m. 1620 Penn Avenue. Strip District.
