Los Amigos Invisibles, One of David Byrne’s Favorite Bands, Plays Mr. Smalls (CP’s Fri. 4/12/13)

1) Los Amigos Invisibles, is a Venezuela Latin/funk/lounge fusion band that was launched in the U.S after David Byrne of the Talking Heads purchased the band’s album in a Manhattan record shop. Special guests are Pittsburgh’s own; The Boogie Hustlers. 8 p.m. Mr. Smalls Funhouse, 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.

2) The Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Cincinnati Reds in a 7:05 p.m. game tonight at PNC Park. It’s also a Free Shirt Friday with a T-shirt giveaway to all fans. North Shore.

3) Dancing Queen will put people on the dance floor at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. The disco/funk band takes the stage at 9 p.m. 285 Northgate Dr., Warrendale.

4) ” Cappyoke” combines two fun things, Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside and karaoke! Have a few drinks (or not) and get up in front of the crowd to belt out your favorite songs with DJ Matt. Also, 22 oz. Miller Lite Monster drafts for only $3 and great burgers. 9:30 p.m. 5431 Walnut St.
