Comedian Bill Engvall Plays the Palace; Unblurred: First Fridays Gallery Crawl (CPs Fri., 5/2/14)

1) Clean but funny comedian Bill Engvall performs tonight at Greensburg’s Palace Theater. Best known for his “Here’s Your Sign” bit and for being a member of the Blue Collar Comedy tour with Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, and Larry the Cable Guy, Engvall also was a finalist in 2013 on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. 21 W. 2)  Unblurred: First Fridays on Penn features a variety of visual and performing arts at galleries, clubs, and restaurants along Penn Avenue (4800-5500) in the Garfield, Bloomfield, and Friendship neighborhoods. 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. Most events are free.

3) The Pens take on the New York Rangers in the first game of the NHL’s second round playoffs. 7 p.m. Consol Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

4) Good Fridays at the Warhol is a weekly party at the museum, featuring art exhibits, music, and cocktails in the high temple to Andy Warhol’s numerous talents. Half-price museum admission. 5 – 10 p.m. 117 Sandusky St., North Shore.

5) Pirates take on the Toronto Blue Jays in a 7:05 p.m. game that’s also a Free Shirt Friday (for the first 25,000 fans). 115 Federal St., North Shore.

6) Dr. Zoot brings their swing dance music  to Headliners at the Meadows Casino tonight. 8 p.m. show. No cover. 210 Racetrack Rd., Washington.
