K. Michelle at Carnegie Library Music Hall (CPs Tues., 11/19/13)

1) Singer/songwriter/pianist K. Michelle, who broke out with the hit song “Fakin’ It” that she performed with Missy Elliott, is at the Carnegie Library Music Hall tonight. Michelle also appeared on the VH-1 reality show “Love & Hip Hop. Atlanta.” Rebellious Soul is her latest album, which was released in August and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.  Special guests are Sevyn Streeter and Tiara Thomas. 7:30 p.m. 510 E. 10th Ave., Munhall.

2) At Theater Square tonight, jazz saxophonist Eric DeFade is the featured performer at the JazzLive series at Backstage Bar. No cover. 5 – 9 p.m. 655 Penn Ave., Cultural District.

3) Noted blues performer Billy Price and his band, The Lost Minds, are playing at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. Let his brilliant blues singing take you to a higher level. 8 p.m. No cover. 103 Slade Ln., Warrendale.

4 ) Thunderbird Café’s Space Exchange series, which explores progressive jazz in relation to other musical genres, continues tonight with one of the newer musical projects from Ben Opie, Sound/Unsound Trio. 9 p.m. No cover. 4023 Butler St., Lawrenceville.
