George Lopez Performs at CHMH(Cancelled); Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District (Fri., 1/25/19)

1) Actor, comedian, and yes, restaurateur George Lopez brings his The Wall World Tour to the Carnegie of Homestead Music Hall tonight. Lopez is a multi-faceted entertainer who has had his own TV show three times (“George Lopez,” “Lopez Tonight,” and “Lopez”). On the film side, his numerous credits include Beverly Hills Chihuahua (and its two sequels), RioMeet the Blacks, and Gnome Alone. He owns the George Lopez Chingon Kitchen at San Manuel Casino in Highland, California. The restaurant specializes in authentic Mexican fare. Lopez was part of the The Comedy Get Down world tour starring Cedric ‘The Entertainer’, Eddie Griffin, and D.L. Hughley which played PPG Paints Arena in 2015. 8 p.m. 510 E. 10th St., Munhall. 2) Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District is happening tonight; it features visual arts, musical performances, and interactive exhibits. All events are free and take place at a variety of galleries, art spaces, and venues. Some galleries offer drinks and hors d’oeuvres. What a great way to sample some of Pittsburgh’s great arts and entertainment! 5:30 – 9 p.m., Cultural District.
