Are you a couch potato, a screen-bound sofa spud? Or do you scoff at, or worry about, those of us who are? Either way, here’s a new play that might be just the ticket for you. In Matt Henderson’s Gloria, Jean, and the Sexy Ghost Show, the characters are two middle-aged women living far from each other. A pandemic has locked down activities nationwide and neither of them ever ventures out of doors. But they bond online over binge-watching a TV series on CW, about the amorous adventures of sexy teenage ghosts. Once Gloria and Jean go down this rabbit hole, there’s no telling what depths it might lead them to, so you will have to get off the couch and go to see the play. It is presented as a staged reading, as part of the New Hazlett Theater’s Off the Page series. See Gloria, Jean, and the Sexy Ghost Show at 7:30 p.m., tonight only. 6 Allegheny Square East, North Side. (M.V.)
