Laurel Highlands Ski Resorts Continue with Good Skiing and Snowboarding (Mon., 1/31/22)

Bob Nutting, owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates, made a very big trade in December. He sent his Laurel Highlands ski resorts—Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Laurel Mountain—to Vail Resorts, a national ski resort operator. No, Nutting didn’t receive minor league prospects in return, he cashed out with $118 million dollars (as reported by the Trib). The local resorts have been making a good base for a while now and the recent big snowfall makes for some great powder for your downhill run. Whether a beginning skier or just short of making the Olympic team, these resorts offer a variety of slopes and trails for all skill levels. And don’t forget snowboarding and other fun activities.
