Normally for Memorial Day we would be writing about Kennywood, Sandcastle, and concerts at S&T Bank Music Park. Unfortunately, we all know that’s not going to be the case this year. Coronavirus has made some old entertainments new again. Drive-in movie theaters and drive up restaurants are in vogue again. Two in those categories that readily come to mind are Moon Township’s Dependable Drive-In and Jerry’s Curb Service in Bridgewater, Beaver County. Other good drive-ups are Page Dairymart and Glens Custard in Springdale (original location) and Lower Burrell. There’s also your own favorite ice cream location, including Scoops Pittsburgh which has five area stores. Golf, tennis biking, and hiking are other fun activities. Whatever you do please stay safe!
