Musical Deeds for Greatest Needs Fundraiser at Altar Bar; Islanders vs. Pens (CPs Fri., 4/10/15)

1) Altar Bar hosts an important fundraiser tonight—Musical Deeds For Greatest Needs
—with all proceeds benefiting Chidren’s Hospital. This fun event features some of Pittsburgh’s top talent including Rachel B, Paul Luc, Jesse Mader and The Urban Rock Project, Wine & Spirit, SickSense, Good Brother Earl,and Bill Deasy. So get out, enjoy some great musical entertainment and help a needy cause. 7 p.m. 1620 Penn Ave., Strip District.

2) The Pens play the New York Islanders in the final home game of the regular season. Let’s hope the Pens can enter the playoffs on a roll. 7 p.m. Consol Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

3) Rick Jergel is co-owner of Jergel’s Rhythm Grille and lead singer in the house band, Fathertime. The venue, created to provide Pittsburgh’s northern suburbs with a solid concert hall and hang-out spot, plays host to local and touring acts, but Fathertime is no slouch when it fills in the gaps, bringing the heat with enthusiastic renditions of Top 40 favorites. A complimentary shuttle service is available by appointment for groups of 8 to 10 within a 10-mile radius of the venue. 9 p.m. 285 Northgate Dr., Warrendale.

4) Good Fridays at the Warhol is a weekly party at the museum, featuring art exhibits, music, and cocktails in the high temple to Andy Warhol’s numerous talents. Half-price museum admission. 5 – 10 p.m. 117 Sandusky St., North Shore.
