OpenStreetsPGH on City Streets Today; Allegheny County Music Festival w/Randall Bauman Ramble at Hartwood (Sun., 6/29/25)

1) OpenStreetsPGH is a fun event during which neighborhood streets are closed to auto traffic in certain parts of the city, so people can roll on through, whether biking, walking, or skateboarding. There are plenty of activities along the way as well. Organized by the nonprofit BikePGH, the OpenStreetsPGH events are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on several Sundays this year: June 29, and July 27. Different routes are explored on each date. 2) The 25th Annual Allegheny County Music Festival promises to be another very popular one. This year’s featured act is Randall Bauman’s Ramble. The group will play a program of rock songs from the legendary group  The Band’s drummer, Levon Helm: A Celebration of Levon Helm’s Midnight Rambles. Additionally, songs from Bob Dylan and originals from Randall Bauman and members of the Ramble will be heard. A $20 suggested donation per car and benefits the Allegheny County Music Festival Fund. A $20 per vehicle requested donation supports requests made through the county Department of Human Services or the Juvenile Section of the Family Division of the Court of Common Pleas. Since 2000, the County Music Festival has raised nearly $550,000. 5 p.m. 200 Hartwood Acres, Hampton and Indiana townships. (CM)
