Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pittsburgh Opera Perform Allegheny County’s Concert Series (Sun., 8/16/20)

One of the highlights of a normal Pittsburgh summer is the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series featuring national and local bands and performers playing at Hartwood Acres and South Park. Well, as we all know this summer is anything but normal. However the Summer Concert Series is continuing, albeit virtually. The 10 concerts this summer are being aired on Pittsburgh’s CW TV channel Sundays at 7 p.m. The shows will also be posted to the Allegheny County Parks Facebook page and YouTube Channel Sundays at 8 p.m. Tonight’s performance is a high-quality cultural two-fer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre performing a reconceptualization of Shakespeare’s, A Midsummer Night’s Dream by PBT Artistic Director, Susan Jaffe; and a summer concert by Pittsburgh Opera artists.
