Pittsburgh Opera’s Diamond Diva Disco Party; Pour at the (North) Park (Sat., 10/11/2025)

1) Pittsburgh Opera puts on some seriously good productions, but they also like to let their hair down and have big fun. That will be the case this evening with their Diamond Diva Disco Party at the Bitz Opera Factory. It’s the 70th Annual Diamond Horseshoe Celebration. Pittsburgh Opera says, “Enjoy good vibes, sip funkadelic refreshments, and boogie the night away at a glittering evening that fuses opera with disco.” Event highlights include Hoagie Dreams (Jarrett Tebbets) from Disco Sunday Disco and Gordy G of TITLETOWN spinning tunes all night long bringing high-energy disco classics to the dance floor. Plus, their will be savory foods from vendors including PGH Dumplingz and Taqueria Acosta, and sweet dessert stations from Bella Christie. VIP starts at 6 p.m. and regular admission begins at 7:30 p.m. 2425 Liberty Ave., Strip District.

2) The Allegheny County Parks Foundation is having a very exciting fundraiser—its semi-annual Pour at the Park. The event, which occurs today from 5:00 to 9 p.m. at North Park Lodge. Pour at the Park will feature beer, spirit, and food tastings. Participants include: Penn Brewery, Voodoo Brewing, Cinderlands Brewing, Lucky Sign Spirits, A Few Bad Apples Cider, Full Pint Brewing, The Beast-Malt Beverage, Blind Lemon Hard Lemonade, Blume Honey Water, Firewhistle Brewing, The Oven Pizza Company, Lets Taco Food Truck, Nothing Bundt Cakes. and more. Live music by the Altered Egos. Prize baskets valued at $250 to $500 each will be awarded by a ticket raffle. Come on out and support the Allegheny County Parks Foundation and its mission to improve, conserve and restore the nine Allegheny County Parks. This is a family friendly event and also features fun activities for children. Sorry no dogs though. Event tickets required which can also be purchased at the door. There is also a VIP ticket.
