Wouldn’t it be great if there were neighborhood ice cream shops with over 40 flavors of ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream cakes, ice cream bars, freshly made waffle cones, waffle bowl sundaes, cookies, hard to find glass bottle soda pops, and candy? Well there is! Scoops Pittsburgh has been steadily growing over the last 19 years and now has five shops. Owner Mike Collins opened the first Scoops on Beverly Road in Mt. Lebanon in 2000. Then came Brookline, Bloomfield, Bellevue, and Carnegie (Note: during this ongoing period of Coronoavirus only the Mt. Lebanon and Bellevue stores are open). Friendly staff scoop your favorite ice creams and skillfully build your delectable delight. Scoops uses high quality ice creams from several suppliers including Hershey’s. The shops also sell Scoops cash (gift certificates), and who wouldn’t want the gift of delicious ice cream. Note: During Covid-19 restrictions only Scoops on Beverly and Scoops Bellevue are open.
