1) What do Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Bill Murray, and Gilda Radner have in common? All of them were once part of the Second City comedy club/theater and school of improvisation. Second City has been entertaining audiences and training performers in all aspects of sketch comedy and improv for over 50 years. Tonight’s show N’at’s All Folks!is a humorous take on our beloved city of Pittsburgh, including our politics, accent, and sports teams. They will also perform some of their best improv, sketch comedy, and wacky song routines. The Second City performers for this show are Marlena Rodriguez, Alan Linic, Lisa Beasley, John Thibodeaux, Liz Reuss, and Scott Morehead. This is a great opportunity to see some of the countries best up-and-coming comedic talent. To insure every routine gets a round of uproarious laughter, a cash bar will remain open in the lobby. There are even cabaret tables available for seating on the stage. 7 p.m. Performances through Saturday. Pittsburgh Public Theater, 621 Penn Ave., Cultural District.

2) If you’ve heard Horace Silver’s immortal bossa nova standard, “Song for My Father,” then you’ve heard Roger Humphries. The brilliant percussionist has played virtually every major venue in the United States with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Ray Charles to Pittsburgh natives Nathan Davis and Pete Henderson. An accomplished solo artist in his own right and the leader of RH Factor and Roger Humphries’ Big Band, Humphries has also left a lasting legacy in Pittsburgh as an educator, having taught at the University of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, and elsewhere. Catch the legendary drummer during a free public performance at the Backstage Bar at Theater Square at 5 p.m. 655 Penn Ave., Cultural Trust.

3) Getaway to the tropics with a trip to Brillobox for Tropical Tuesdays. There you’ll feel the trade winds (heat flowing from the ducts) soothe your overdue vacation bones. Here’s a sampling of their specials: $3 select craft cans, $4 frozen drinks, $10 California bubble bath, $10 Eva Peron, $7 Fernet con cola, and $6 Coronita Margaveza. You can also sop up the island drinks with $7 pineapple soy-glazed chicken or tofu skewers served with Caribbean sweet potato salad. Shoes and shirt required. 5 p.m. – 2 a.m. 4104 Penn Ave., Bloomfield.
