The Forge Pgh Offers Pizza, Flatbreads, and Mediterranean Influenced Small Plate Fare (Thurs., 5/7/20)

The Forge Pgh is one of the latest additions to Lawrenceville’s ever-growing culinary scene. Its niche is craft cocktails and Mediterranean food. The menu includes staples, such as hummus, falafel, pita, and  Mediterranean salads. But there’s also an extensive list of pizza and flatbreads. The appetizers run the gamut of Sicilian tuna steak to grilled chicken shishlik to blooming cauliflower. Cocktails sport some sultry names: Swipe Right Material, Naughty Niko, and more. Craft beer and wine, much of it local, are also available. There’s a cozy lounge area where to imbibe, and you can make a reservation for parties of six or more. Otherwise, call ahead of time to reserve your spot in line, but just make sure all of your party is present when it’s your turn. The Forge, like all operating restaurants during this time, is take-out and delivery only. Check its website for expanded business hours and online delivery options. The restaurant is presently open Thursday through Sunday, 5 – 9 p.m.  3345 Penn Ave. (CM)
