The Manor Theatre Celebrates 100 Years with a Classic Film Festival (Wed., 5/18/22)

Squirrel Hill’s Manor Theatre is celebrating a quite remarkable anniversary—100 years! This span has taken the theater from silent movies accompanied by piano music to the latest iterations of the Star Wars franchise. The film festival began last Friday and is continuing through tomorrow. Classic films still to be shown include 2001: A Space Odyssey, Pulp Fiction, Singin’ in the Rain, The Departed, His Girl Friday, The Godfather, and Get Out. The Manor Theatre and its mix of new mainstream, offbeat, and cultural films have long made it a crown jewel in Pittsburgh’s film community. Let us toast to another 100 years for The Manor!
