Free RADical Days With the North Side Corridor (Thurs., 9/30/21)

Every woman has many faces. ‘Red Jackie,’ one of Warhol’s many portraits of the former First Lady, demonstrates that colors and shading may determine which face you’ll see. Even if you don’t see this exact ‘Jackie’  on display, you are certain to see one or more images of Jackie on exhibit. (image © The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc.)

From the Allegheny County RADical Days Website: (Note: Unfortunately the National Aviary will not be able to participate today as the staff continues its search for its missing sea eagle).

Spend a day on the Northside and explore the spaces and fun activations between The Andy Warhol Museum, The National Aviary, Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, Allegheny Commons Park (Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy), City of Asylum, and the Mattress Factory.

Reserve FREE timed-entry admission online with The Warhol (warhol.org), The National Aviary (aviary.org), Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh (pittsburghkids.org) or the Mattress Factory (mattress.org) by visiting each partner website.

Enjoy drop-in activities in Allegheny Commons Park (pittsburghparks.org), City of Asylum Bookstore (cityofasylum.org) and Buhl Community Park.

Open hours and activity times vary. See each website for details and a schedule of activities. Registration for some activities may be required.
