Unblurred Gallery Crawl in East End; Pandemic DJ Dance Party at brillobox (CPs Fri., 4/3/15)

1) Unblurred: First Fridays on Penn features a variety of visual and performing arts at galleries, clubs, and restaurants along Penn Avenue (4800-5500) in the Garfield, Bloomfield, and Friendship neighborhoods. 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. Most events are free.

2) Pandemic will break out at Brillobox tonight. Symptoms of this DJ dance party are a wide grin and the uncontrollable urge to shake your body parts. This strain of Pandemic, derived from world folk and contemporary dance music, could be studied, but it is better understood through collecting experiential evidence. Special guest is dan dabber who joins resident dj pandemic pete. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. 4104 Penn Ave., Bloomfield.

3) The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel – And here comes one of Dev Patel’s two March movies; a sequel to the enormously popular The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. There’s probably a plot but nobody, I assure you, is going for that. We just wanna watch two Dames, Maggie Smith and Judi Dench, along with Bill Nighy, Penelope Wilton and Celia Imrie battle for screen time with franchise newbies Richard Gere, David Strathairn and Tamsin Greg. It’s about grown ups with probably not a gun or special effect in sight (if you exclude the facelifts) … what more could you possible want? Check Fandango for screens and times
