Wine and liquor stores may be closed across Pennsylvania, but beer distributors can stay open, and that includes craft breweries. In my neck of the woods, people can purchase four-packs to go or fills of new growlers at Grist House’s outdoor trailer in Millvale (and at their new Collier location). (Just make sure to stand six feet from one another in line. Gotta keep up that social distancing.) Grist House also offers can and keg delivery. Both Strange Roots’ Millvale and Gibsonia locations have curbside pick-up for bottles, cans, new growlers, and food. Southern Tier on the North Shore uses a similar curbside model. You can also buy cans, crowlers, or food curbside or by delivery from Cinderlands Warehouse in the Strip District. Voodoo Brewery in Homestead, meanwhile, is selling bottles, cans, crowlers, and new growlers for pick-up. But this list is only a sample. Check to see if your favorite brewery is open. If so, look out for adjusted hours and specific instructions on how to get your beer. (CM)
