Seether and Skillet Headline Hard Rock Concert at Stage AE (Mon., 9/23/24)

Heavy metal rock band Seether returns to Pittsburgh for a concert at Stage AE this evening. The band is riding high on the September 20 release of their ninth studio album, The Surface Seems So Far. The album’s opening track, “Judas Mind” has already hit no. 5 on the rock radio charts. Seether, originally from Pretoria, South Africa, are known for top songs like “Broken,” “Fake It,” and “Words as Weapons.” This work and others has garnered the group five gold and platinum albums and two dozen Billboard Rock Airplay Top 10 hits including 20 no. 1s at U.S. radio throughout their over 20 year career. The rock quartet also founded the annual Rise Above Fest for nearly ten years to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental illness. Skillet is a Christian rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, and consists of two men and two women, one of which is a married couple. Also on the bill is Tim Montana and Royale Lynne.
