1) OpenStreetsPGH is a fun event during which neighborhood streets are closed to auto traffic in certain parts of the city, so people can roll on through, whether biking, walking, or skateboarding. There are plenty of activities along the way as well. Organized by the nonprofit BikePGH, the OpenStreetsPGH events are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. For more info, check out the OpenStreetsPGH website. (R.H.)

2) As a precursor to Film Pittsburgh’s ReelAbilities Film Festival (September 4 – 10), the organization and CitiParks Office of Special Events will offer a free screening of Champions, a positive sports dramedy with an inclusive cast, which includes Woody Harrelson and Kaitlin Olson, at sunset this tonight at Schenley Plaza. It’s described as, “Champions (2023) tells the story of a former minor-league basketball coach who is ordered by the court to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that, together, they can go further than they ever imagined. The film will be presented with open captions in a relaxed, family-friendly environment.”

3) The City of Pittsburgh’s Bach, Beethoven and Brunch Classical Music Series offers a free concert today by North Pittsburgh Flute Society. Upper Mellon Park, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Pack your own brunch basket or buy food at the park. Fifth and Shady Aves., Point Breeze/Squirrel Hill.
