The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust hosted an exciting multi-media season reveal event at the Benedum Center for its PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh subscription series Monday night. Kendra Whitlock Ingram, President & CEO of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and Brooke Horejsi, the Cultural Trust’s Chief Programming and Engagement Officer were the two MCs for the announcement event. Their presentation was spot on with informative enlightenment, personally relevant theater stories, witty banter, and clever clues about what was to be announced next. Some very savvy theater aficionados picked up on the clues quickly, realizing what the musical would be and then start to applaud. One example was Horejsi complimenting Ingram on her pink suit who in turn complimented Horejsi on her green shoes. Then they both said pink and green, which some in the audience realized was a reference to Wicked. Another was when Ingram asked Horejsi if she wanted to hear what the next musical was and Horejsi replied, “I’m all ears.” That was a clue that Shucked was the next production in the lineup. The fun clues continued for a few other musicals.

Other evening highlights came after the first musical was announced, A Beautiful Noise—The Neil Diamond Musical. The actor Alec Michael Ryan who portrays, as a swing actor, the young Diamond came onstage and sang “Cracklin’ Rosie,” much to the delight of the crowd. Ryan also closed out the evening with “Sweet Caroline,” which saw the audience swaying and singing along. Natalia Vivino, who has played the role of Elphaba on the second national Broadway tour of Wicked, sang a soaring version of “The Wizard and I.” The Cultural Trust gave away several prize packages to randomly chosen subscribers throughout the night.
A truly remarkable season was announced that also includes: Hell’s Kitchen (based on the music and lyrics of Alicia Keys), Clue, Beauty and the Beast, Water for Elephants, and The Great Gatsby. Optional season add-ons include Six, Les Miserables, and Chicago.

Additionally, the programs for the Pittsburgh Dance Council, Trust Cabaret, and Liberty Magic 2025 – 2026 seasons were announced. Dance companies that will hit the stage in Pittsburgh include the Martha Graham Dance Company and Camille A. Brown. Brown is also the choreographer for Hell’s Kitchen. Highlights for Trust Cabaret include Eva Noblezada and Isaac Mizrahi. Three-time Tony Award-winning actor and singer Patti LuPone will perform a one-night concert in Pittsburgh. Magicians that will be featured at Liberty Magic theater are: Lucy Darling, Rob Zabrecky, Lee Terbosic, Michael Misko, and Mr. Messado.
