Chef’s Table bills itself as “A Restaurant with Heart,” and with an emphasis on healthy food and feeding the hungry in our community, it’s hard to disagree. Natural ingredients go into a worldly menu, which runs the gamut from pizza to grain bowls. Other items include salads, sandwiches, and various chef’s specials, such as the pesto chicken. Its “Buy a Meal, Give A Meal” program allows customers to nominate someone whom they think deserves five meals per month. Owner Kevin Watson has decades of culinary experience, much of it cooking in top Pittsburgh restaurants. He’s also worked as the personal chef for various Steelers, including Jerome Bettis. The restaurant is BYOB during non-pandemic times, but for now, it is take-out only. It also now offers meal preps, whether for the athlete or the vegan. 2193 Babcock Blvd., Ross Township. (CM)
