1) Attention sports aficionados, there’s a great opportunity beginning today to watch several NCAA Division I hockey teams battle for the top prize in the second-annual Three Rivers Classic hockey tournament, which is hosted again this year by Robert Morris University. Other teams competing are Penn State, Boston College, and Bowling Green. Robert Morris won the inaugural tourney, but this year, Boston College is ranked No. 4 in a national preseason poll. Bowling Green University is the alma mater of Pens’ head coach Dan Bylsma and assistant coach Todd Reirden. Boston College will take on Bowling Green today at 4:30 p.m.; Robert Morris and Penn State face off at 7:30 p.m. Consol Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.
2) Many top off the Christmas season by enjoying music from their favorite artists. For some Pittsburghers, that means a Clarks’ show. It will be hard to see a “Penny on the Floor” of the Rex Theater as fans of The Clarks file in for their annual holiday show at the Rex tonight and tomorrow. Opening tonight is The Badlees. 8:30 p.m. 1602 E. Carson St., South Side.
3) Musical genre absorption man Keller Williams will perform his mix of funk, folk, reggae, bluegrass, alternative, rock, gospel, jazz, dance, and electronic at Mr.Smalls Funhouse. He brings his latest project, “More Than a Little,” on tour from the Richmond, Va., region. Williams song “Freaker by the Speaker” received some good airplay several years back. 9 p.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale.
4) Club Café presents rockers Vibro Kings in concert tonight with Doug Khorey, Ford Thurston, Lou Ross, and Eric Choucroun. Special guests are Jean-Marc and Kevin of Grapevine. 8 p.m. 56-58 S. 12th St., South Side.
