1) The Andy Warhol Museum is extra happening tonight with “Sound Series: Sao Paulo Underground.” The event features live jazz and Brazilian tropicalia music from Rob Mazurek, Guilherme Granado, Mauricio Takara and Richard Ribeiro. 8 p.m. Come a little early and enjoy a DJ set from Pete Spynda (of Pandemic), 7 p.m. North Shore.
2) Less Than Jake, a southern ska/punk band, plays a show at Altar Bar. Opening are: A Wilhelm Scream; Junior Battles. 8:30 p.m. 1620 Penn Avenue. Strip District.
3) If you have a great singing voice, and even if you don’t, head on over to Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside where every Friday night is Cappyoke night. Everyone sounds a little better after you’ve had a few drinks; Miller Monsters are on sale for $3. 9:30 p.m. 5431 Walnut Street.
4) ABBA tribute band, Dancing Queen, brings you your favorite ABBA hits plus dance grooves from other artists. 9 p.m. Jergel’s Rhythm Grille. 285 Northgate Dr., Warrendale.
