1) The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is holding it’s last Gallery Crawl of the season. Assorted art gallery open houses, entertainment, even a” Project Pop Up: Night Market” where crawlers can enjoy tasty edible art from local restaurants including Meat & Potatoes, Conflict Kitchen, BRGR, Fukuda, Bluebird Kitchen and more. “Crawl” schedule 5:30-9 p.m. Patrons may start at any locale. The Night Market is in an open-air lot at 917-919 Liberty Ave., open 7 p.m.-midnight. All events and activites are FREE, and open to the public, in the Cultural District, Downtown.
2) Another kind of open-air, cultural crawl starts today in Bloomfield with the start of “Little Italy Days.” Enjoy great Italian food from neighborhood restaurants and street vendors. Dance off what you’ve eaten to Italian music, entertainment and bocce ball. Tonight’s featured entertainment presented by Big Day Entertainment is Jimmy Sapienza & 5 Guys Named Moe, with Maria Sargent and Kenny Blake, 6 -10 p.m. Free. Runs through Sunday. Todays festival hours are 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Liberty Ave., Bloomfield.
3) Elizabeth Streb coordinates the production of “STREB.” Her STREB Extreme Action Company: FORCES, a group of theatrical daredeveils, incorporate culture, sports, music and circus elements into their acrobatic dance movements. Tonight and tomorrow, presented by Pittsburgh Dance Council. 8 p.m. Byham Theater, 101 6th St., Downtown Cultural District.
4) Point Park’s Pittsburgh Playhouse presents “Rope,” a play invoving murder and drama revolving around the killing of a fellow college student. Directed by Elmore James, authored by Patrick Hamilton. 8 p.m. 222 Craft Ave., Oakland.
