1) Denis DeYoung, original lead singer of the classic rock band Styx, is in concert at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino. DeYoung will surely play “Renegade,” one of the songs that gets Steeler’s fans fired up at the games. You’re also sure to hear: “Lady,” “Come Sail Away,” and “The Grand Illusion.” 8 p.m. Washington, PA.
2) The Pittsburgh Power Arena Football League team take on the Tampa Bay Storm at the Consol Energy Center (Editor’s note: the Consol Energy Center has a great air conditioning system). Kick off 7:30 p.m.
3) Lonestar with special guest Casey James are the featured country music artists playing the” Y108 Freedom Fest” at the Big Butler Fair. Free with fair admission, concert gates open at 6:30 p.m. Prospect, PA.
4) Dance band, Mercedez, gets the crowd moving at Baja Bar and Grill’s outdoor patio bar and dance floor. 8 p.m.
5) The fun continues at the Westmoreland Arts & Heritage Festival with many art exhibits and activities. Question Mark & The Mysterians will play their classic hit “96 Tears” and many more. Free. Twin Lakes Park, Greensburg, 6:30 p.m.
