1) Macy’s is presenting Elephant Day at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.  Celebrate the zoo’s elephant herd’s birthdays. Festivities include: Face painting, crafts, animal presentations. You can also join in and sing “Happy Birthday,” eat birthday cake, dance, play games and possibly win prizes. No word yet if the elephants will play “pin the tail on the donkey.” 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Free with zoo admission. Highland Park.

2) The Don Aliquo Quartet is the featured group for this week’s Pittsburgh Jazz Society jam at the James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy. 6-9 p.m. 422 Foreland Street, North Side.

3) It’s Ladies Night at Barcelona at Rivers Edge, delicious drink specials, free mini-massages, prizes, tapas menu available. 7-10 p.m. 4616 Allegheny River Blvd., Verona.

4) Take a cruise to today’s Steelers  vs. Jets game aboard the Gateway Clipper Fleet’s Steelers Shuttle. “93.7 THE FAN” Pre-Game Show takes place on the Clipper’s Dock. Prizes, games & giveaways. The Shuttle starts running approximately 3 hours before kick-off and for 1 hour after the game.
