1) Watershed, a high energy rock band from our neighbors to the west, Columbus, Ohio, rocks out Club Cafe. Special guests are Erica Blinn. 8 pm show, South Side.

2) “Captain America : The First Avenger” is running free in Schenley Park. The movie starts at 8pm with a live pre-show concert from The Schrader Steel Band starting at 7 pm. Free (“Thank You” Dollar Bank), Flagstaff Hill.

3) Check out the latest from director, Ridley Scott, the sci-fi movie “Prometheus” at your local neighborhood movie house.

4) Shari Richards plays Jergel’s Rhythm Grill . Richards is a versatile singer who enjoys singing the blues, R & B, folk and jazz. No cover, 8 pm., Warrendale.

5) “Ring of Fire” is the current production at the Mountain Playhouse. It is a musical based on the life and songs of Johnny Cash written by his wife and collaborator June Carter Cash. 2 pm and 8 pm shows, Boswell, PA (near Jennerstown).
