Kevin Howard Band Plays Savoy Jazz Mondays (CPs Mon., 11/10/14)

1) Savoy Restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with The Kevin Howard Band. Howard—a contemporary jazz keyboardist and Pittsburgh native—has been recognized by several local media outlets as one of the region’s top jazz performers. He has toured with the legendary Ronnie Laws and played with Najee and another Pittsburgh native—George Benson. 2) Check out new and established talent at one of the city’s best open stage nights, Club Cafe’s AcoustiCafe. The host of tonight’s supportive and friendly event is Heather Kropf and featured performer is Cariad Harmon . No cover. 7 p.m. 56 – 58 S. 12th St., South Side.

3) It’s Global Mondays at Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside with imported bottled beers for only $3. While there, team up an import with a bowl of their scrumptious chili. 5431 Walnut St.
