David Throckmorton at Thunderbird (CP’s Tues. 6/4/13)

1) Thunderbird Cafe’s Space Exchange series continues tonight with Dave Throckmorton. The hip-hop band includes drummer David Throckmorton with Akil Esson (MC), Paul Thompson (bass), Chris Parker (guitar), and Ben Opie (sax, FX).. 9 p.m. No cover. 4023 Butler St., Lawrenceville.

2) Celli Dancing will be happening at Mullaney’s Harp & Fiddle. This is participatory, which means , as their website says , “even on your first Tuesday night, you will dance.”The evening starts at 7:15 p.m. with lessons for beginners, then live music and dancing go from 8-10 p.m. 2329 Penn Ave., Strip District.

3) It’s Bike Night at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille tonight, get those Harleys, Hondas, and BMWs rolling. Entertainment outdoors by local rockers Angel Blue and the Prophets Band. 8 p.m. No cover. 103 Slade Ln, Warrendale

4) Today’s a great day to get out into the country for some fresh air. Ohiopyle State Park features many exhilarating activities: rafting, canoeing, kayaking; water slides, fishing, hiking, biking. In addition to all the fun, it’s just nice to experience Ohiopyle’s natural beauty; the waterfalls, wild flowers and white water that are seen throughout the Youghiogheny river gorge.
