Maybe these guys are only one brick shy of a load, but in "Potted Potter," that's still plenty silly.

1) If you enjoyed A Very Potter Musical, the Harry Potter spoof by StarKid Productions that went viral on the Internet a few years ago, Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Potter Experience may be the show for you. British comedy duo Dan Clarkson and Jeff Turner created this send-up, which is done the extreme way. Two actors play all the characters and they squeeze in all seven books of J.K. Rowlings’ Potter saga. In that sense Potted Potter is similar to The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged) or The Three Canadians Attempt Ben-Hur, except that instead of Macbeth’s duel or the chariot race, there is Quidditch. The touring production, acted by James Percy and Joseph Maudlin, has had rave reviews in other cities; here it’s at the Byham Theater. 7:30 p.m. Ends tomorrow. 101 6th St., Cultural District.

2) Citizen Kane — Some may rise as others may fall but this Orson Welles directed film is still the one to beat when compiling a list of All Time Greatest Films. Citizen Kane disappeared after it’s initial lackluster 1941 release, partly because William Randolph Hearst, on whom the title character is based, blacked-out any coverage in his nation-wide chain of newspapers. But with the passage of time, and the waning of Hearst’s power, the film eventually acquired it’s reputation as a masterpiece – because of Welles’ direction, Herman Mankiewicz’ script, Bernard Herrmann’s music and, especially, Gregg Toland’s groundbreaking cinematography. Oh, and in case you’re interested, Rosebud turns out to be … a little boy who talks to dead people! This showing celebrates Orson Welle’s 100th birthday (if still living), cake and discussion at 7 p.m., movie at 7:30 p.m. Citizen Kane will also screen tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Hollywood Theater, 1449 Potomac Ave., Dormont.

3) Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside is holding a Team Trivia contest tonight with Trivia Master John. 9 – 11 p.m. Yuengling draft special is $3 for a 20 oz. brew. 5431 Walnut St.
