1) Fifty Shades of Grey — Here it is, the film adaptation of one of 2011’s most read and most reviled novels. Anastasia Steele is a college senior who gets a chance to interview businessman Christian Grey. He’s young, he’s gorgeous, he’s filthy rich; everything a girl wants in a fella … and more! The more being that Christian is into bondage. She goes for him in a big way, but she’s not all that crazy about the paddles. Can these two wacky kids find love? It took writer E. L. James three novels to answer that question. Check Fandango for your local movie house.
2) Savoy Restaurant’s Savoy Jazz Mondays continues tonight with the Roger Humphries Trio featuring vocalist Judi Figel. Heat up with some great jazz. 6 – 10 p.m. No cover. 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District.
3) Check out new and established talent at one of the city’s best open stage nights, Club Cafe’s AcoustiCafe. The host of tonight’s supportive and friendly event is RV. No cover. 7 p.m. 56 – 58 S. 12th St., South Side.
