Jeremy Piven to Perform Stand-up at the Byham (Fri., 3/22/25)

Jeremy Piven has played a diverse amount of characters in his acting career A few years ago he played the title character in PBS’s British docu-drama series, “Mr. Selfridge.In 2008 he tried his hand at Broadway when he appeared in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow. And possibly in his most famous role Piven portrayed  Ari Gold (a character based on Hollywood super-agent Ari Emanuel, brother of Rahm, former Chicago mayor and former Obama Chief of Staff). in HBO’s “Entourage” TV show. For that role he won a Golden Globe Award and three consecutive Emmy Awards. He was even in an episode of Seinfeld when they were casting for the TV role of George Costanza. Piven also starred in the CBS drama “Wisdom of the Crowd.” He’s currently on tour performing stand-up and you can catch him at the Byham Theater 7:30 p.m. 101 6th St., Cultural District.
