Jimmy Adler Blues Jam at Wolfie’s Pub; Cappy’s Cafe Has Global Mondays (Mon., 9/16/19)

1) Wolfies Pub, just off Market Square on Forbes Avenue Downtown is a newer restaurant and bar with a full lineup of live music. Beginning today and subsequent Mondays it will be a Jimmy Adler’s Blues Monday featuring some top notch blues music. Experienced players are welcome to bring their musical instrument and sit in with the Jimmy Adler trio. Tonight will also be a special pop up blues event in advance of Highmark Blues and Heritage Festival this coming weekend at August Wilson African American Cultural Center. Two tickets will be given away to see legendary blues/rock musician Charlie Musselwhite perform at the festival on September 20 plus admission to the Taste of Blues Party. 6 to 9 p.m. No cover. 274 Forbes Ave.

2) It’s Global Mondays at Cappy’s Cafe in Shadyside with imported bottled beers for only $3. While there, team up an import with a bowl of their scrumptious chili. 5431 Walnut St.
