Kevin Hart Brings His Standup Comedy to PPG Paints Arena; The Ohio Players at Black Music Fest (Sun. 7/17/22)

1) Kevin Hart, one of the hottest comedians in the country right now, will be performing at PPG Paints Arena tonight on his Reality Check tour. The Philadelphia native is a star of stage, screen, and yes even the book shelves. His film credits include: Ride Along, Ride Along 2, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, with Jack Black and Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson. This past year Hart could be seen as one of the Shark investors on the ABC TV show “Shark Tank.” Another TV show credit was “Real Husbands of Hollywood” on which he played himself. Hart’s book, I Can’t Make This Stuff Up: Life Lessons, debuted at number one on the New York Times Bestseller List when it was released in 2017. 7 p.m. 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown.

2) Pittsburgh’s 4th Annual Black Music Festival concludes today at Point State Park and Market Square stages. Today its Funk, Blues and Soul Day. Today’s main headliners are The Ohio Players (8 p.m.) and Brownstone (6 p.m.). 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Free.
