Phat Man Dee Single Release Event at Con Alma (Sun., 3/27/22)

Con Alma Jazz Club Downtown will host jazz vocalist Phat Man Dee in a single release event with her quintet of artists which include Reggie Watkins, Tony Campbell, Victor Garzotto, Eli Naragon, and Roger Humphries! Her new release, “Easy to Say,” is the second single from her upcoming LP release, The New Standard. This new song was co-written by Man Dee and Jeff Franzel. She wrote it for her husband of 20 years, Tommy Amoeba. It’s lyrics include “Easy to say cuz it’s true, easy to say when you see what I see, I adore watching you just be you, I wish you could see you from inside me, it’s easy to say…. I love you….” Definitely a song from the heart! 5 to 8 p.m. 613 Penn Ave., Cultural District.
