1) Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre performs this Sunday at Hartwood Acres amphitheater as part of the Allegheny County Summer Concert Series. Head on out and get a little more culture and beauty in your life. 7:30 p.m. 200 Hartwood Acres, Indiana and Hampton townships.
2) Bloomfield is hosting Little Italy Days. At this festival you’ll find an abundance of delicious Italian food and baked goods, musical performers, dancing, Boccie ball, sidewalk sales, and maybe a little vino. Some of the stalwarts of the Bloomfield culinary scene are Alexander’s Bistro, The Pleasure Bar, Lombardozzi’s, Tessaro’s, Sausalito, and Pizza Italia. Today, noon – 6 p.m. Free. Liberty Avenue, Bloomfield.
3) Our battlin’ Buccos take the diamond again today against the Miami Mariins. It’s also Kids Day, with a Family Fun Zone outside the ball yard beforehand, and all fans 14 and under receiving Kids W.B. Mason Collectible Truck and a chance to run the bases after the game. First pitch is at 1:35 p.m. Next up for the Pirates is a three-game home series against the Houston Astros beginning tomorrow. PNC Park, 115 Federal St., North Shore.
