World of Wheels Auto Show Opens at DLCC; Pittsburgh Boat Show Continues in Monroeville (Fri., 1/19/18)

1) The 57th Annual World of Wheels opens today and runs through Sunday. At the show, also known as Autorama and Cavalcade of Customs, they will have the cars of the movie Fast and the Furious 8, custom cars, motorcycles, hot rods, demonstrations, Pittsburgh Olympic wrestler Kurt Angle, Steelers’ Hall of Famer Jerome Bettis, NHRA Funny Car driver Ron Capps, and even the Hanson Brothers from the hockey movie Slap Shot. 3 – 10 p.m. David L. Lawrence Convention Center, 1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd, Downtown.
2) Attention all captains, mates, and even landlubbers—The Pittsburgh Boat Show is underway again for the 58th year. Check out the latest in boating including new boats and accessories all under one roof at the Monroeville Convention Center. Boating season will hopefully be here before we know it. 5-10 p.m. today. Continues through January 21. 105 Mall Blvd., Monroeville.
