It was another banner year for the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Several hundred-thousand people lined the streets of Pittsburgh to watch the nation’s second largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Irish and non-Irish alike enjoyed marching bands, dance groups, police and military units, Irish organizations, politicians, and animals. Some folks even partook in the consuming of brewed and distilled beverages. The wind may not have always been at the marchers and parade-goers backs, but there was no rain or blizzard.
